Water and Sewer

A 1 mgd filtration plant at the Park provides high-quality drinking and process water for Park customers and 2.3 million gallons of daily finished water storage. An additional 1.9 mgd of source water is permitted for use in the Park. The Authority's source, a 330 million gallon reservoir located 10 miles off-site, provides a high quality drinking water supply.

The Park's wastewater treatment plant, served by a combination of gravity and force mains, can provide up to 500,000 gallons per day of treatment capacity. Industrial pretreatment for non-domestic strengths of sewage is required. The PA Department of Environmental Protection has already approved sewer extensions to complete the build-out of the Park, and plans are underway to expand treatment capacity to up to 1.2 mgd when needed.
